On the third trip I went to the 2nd largest Island in the Philippines: Mindanao. I chose 🇵🇭 Davao City, to see if the reputation of the safest city in Philippines is true. Most of my sightseeing however were interrupted first by typhoon and then earthquake, so unfortunately don’t have that much footage. But I remember sisig was very good! I also met with my friends, so a lot of time was taken for the social part of the trip. As usual, this Air Asia flight was also delayed by 3 hours, so if you ever go with this airline, do mind there can be delays.

On another day my other friends took me to Jack’s Ridge on a hill.

Then I had a small night stroll around the city including tricycle rides.

Davao city was not so touristy city, so it was a totally different experience, but indeed it felt safe. My return flight (+Kraków bus) was the longest travel so far (I hope there will never be more) as it took 37 hours including 3 layovers (Davao-Manila, Manila-Singapore, Singapore-Zurich, Zurich-Kraków) and Kraków-Katowice bus.
