Traveling Adventures of El Hainelos

June 2025 I have visited for the first time the capital of Germany – 🇩🇪 Berlin for a mahjong tournament, so I had only 2 hours of sightseeing. Berlin is a historical capital of Branderburg region, currently it acts as a separate state within Germany. During cold war era it was separated into 2 parts: East and West Berlin, West Berlin by Federal Republic of Germany (Western Powers influence) and East Berlin by German Democratic Republic (Soviet Union influence). However to my knowledge I have been only on the East side.

Getting to 🇩🇪 Berlin from 🇵🇱 Katowice, is not hard, there are constant buses and sometimes trains as well. I took 7 hours flixbus to city of 🇩🇪 Schönefeld right next to Berlin, where the Berlin Brandenburg airport is located. The reason why I chose this place, was because the hotels were almost 2x times cheaper. Well thanks to that I somehow visited 2 German states (Berlin and Brandenburg). Since the place I stayed was pretty much just a hotel next to airport, not much photos could be done that, so you have to deal with only Berlin photos.
