Traveling Adventures of El Hainelos

August 2024 I went to 🇩🇪 Cologne for a mahjong tournament as usual, did not have much time to do some sightseeing, but I made few of photos on the way. Interesting thing about Cologne is that it is around 2000 years old and have some remaining of its past scattered around the city (someday I will go there to hunt for these). It is situated in Ruhr valley, which was one of the most important industrial area of Europe.

I went by flight to 🇩🇪 Dortmund, where I was supposed to take a direct train to 🇩🇪 Cologne. Recently however the German railways are not a very good way to travel with. My next 3 trains were cancelled, so I had to go to 🇩🇪 Wuppertal to get into yet another train. Fortunately the way back was much better.
