From Manila I found a very cheap flight to Kota Kinabalu, which was a very good deal, as I was moving to Kuala Lumpur for my return flight anyways. Kota Kinabalu is an amazing city, very beautiful for most of the parts. However I did notice some parts and even some floors of the malls were deserted, seems like the city still didn’t recover after the pandemic.
