🇵🇱🇨🇿 South Upper Silesia – Racibórz, Opava, Hradec nad Moravicí, Raduň

I went with my friend to view local cities that I haven’t seen yet across the Poland-Czech border. First was city of 🇵🇱 Racibórz, a small city which used to be the capital of Duchy of Ratibor during medieval times, then it united with Opole to creat Duchy of Opole-Ratibor, which is pretty much what Upper Silesia is nowadays today. We went around the city and to the castle-museum, where the Silesia Piast dynasty resided.

Then we went past the border to the Czech part of Silesia, called also 🇨🇿 Opava Silesia. We ate traditional Czech dish from pork belly which included Czech knedliks, and Silesian red cabbage. Then we drove to 🇨🇿 Hradec nad Moravicí, which is a small town with a castle, unfortunatelly, all the castles in the region requires renting a guide, and we passed on this one. Finally we visited 🇨🇿 Raduň where we took tour in the manor there. It was amusing to hear all the history in Czech, as I only understood around 40%, what the guide said.
